The instructor first guided participants in exploring the topic of "Clarifying Roles and Creating Value," helping them recognize common workplace blind spots such as unclear role definitions and unstable mindsets. Participants also learned how to confirm their work tasks to avoid unnecessary rework and ineffective communication, ultimately improving efficiency and achieving expected results
Next came the session on "Work Management and Goal Setting." Through role-setting exercises, participants learned how to prioritize tasks and manage schedules effectively. The instructor also introduced the SMART goals to set realistic and achievable goals, guiding participants on how to align personal objectives with team goals.
Finally, the course covered "Time Management and Project Scheduling" by utilizing the Eisenhower Matrix to evaluate tasks. This helped participants understand how to break down and reorganize work assignments, allowing them to save time and manage their energy more efficiently.
Throughout the course, the instructor also shared additional insights based on participants' experiences, such as how theories like the Forgetting Curve, habitual thinking, and the Dunning-Kruger effect operate in both personal and professional life, and how to respond to them.

"Mastering Effective Presentation Techniques" guides us step by step in unlockhoning presentation skills!
First, the course introduces essential concepts for successful presentations, covering the six major types of public speaking, each with its own impact and method of delivery. By setting a clear topic, analyzing audience needs, and leveraging the speaker's expertise, one can construct a comprehensive presentation.
In discussing the logical structure of a presentation, the course highlights time management—how to adjust the emphasis weight and depth of content within a limited timeframe to embody the idea of “broad themes with brief discussions, and narrow topics with in-depth analysis.” The instructor also facilitated discussions among participants on various engaging opening techniques for presentations, explained the principles of presenting content in logical sequence, and demonstrated the five-step structures using sticky notes. This exercise allowed participants to experience the process from strategy formulation to final presentation and delivery, leaving a lasting impression.Next, the course covered three steps in presentation design: Simplification, Reinforcement, and Beautification. Using Steve Jobs' presentations as a case study, participants learned about the importance of visual communication through the balance of text and images.
The final part of the course, focusing on presentation skills, is both crucial and challenging. The instructor led us through practical exercises in body language, vocal tone, and verbal expression. By simulating scenarios, participants practiced using different gestures and varying speech intonations, which can serve as valuable tools to enhance the impact of presentations.
A competent speaker must possess both professionalism and expressive ability to help the audience (or clients) understand the benefits of the presented topic. In 2022, the ManySplendid Company team, along with the Water Resources Agency, collaborated with the "Hydrotech Research Institute, NTU., " the "WInnER Center," and "FENRI Co., Ltd." to participate in the Taiwan Presidential Hackathon 2022. We proposed the water resource monitoring concept"Colorful Water Net 0,” which uses mathematical models to instantly calculate the water quality of the Tamsui River, providing information on dissolved oxygen and pollution. This project earned "earned us the title of an excellent teamthem the title of an excellent team!
Winning this honor was not the end. ManySplendid Company continues to work with the Water Resources Agency to develop a water quality model.material transport model for real-time water quality calculationssimulation. By combining theory with practical insights, the instructor facilitated a deeper understanding among participants of the core principles of project management and the challenges they may face at each stage. 2024.05.03＜Flash Flood Warning Service for Mountainous Areas Now Launched＞

Manysplendid has supported the Central Weather Administration (CWA) in officially launching the "Mountainous Area Torrential Rain Stream Surge Alert" national warning system on May 1st, 2024. This alert system, in collaboration with local county and city governments, targets 24 stream areas across 11 counties. It involves sending mobile disaster warning messages (PWS) to alert the public about the risk of stream surges during torrential rains in mountainous regions. Manysplendid assisted the CWA in the selection of target locations, watersheds, and reference station data, and has conducted a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of alert message releases over the past two years. Through collaboration between industry, government, academia, and research, this achievement the aim is to create a safer and more reliable recreational environment for streams in mountainous areas for the public.

ManySplendid Company executes multiple flood warning and flood control integration projects for the River Managment Branch, including on-site operations such as flood investigations. Therefore, this year's occupational safety training was conducted.
This training included a detailed explanation of the definition of occupational hazards, descriptions of situations with immediate danger, precautions for attending work or being on duty during typhoons and heavy rains, and an explanation of the standards for constructing safety and health facilities. The aim was to enhance employees' safety awareness. Additionally, the training covered detailed descriptions of business content and safety reminders for cooperation with subcontractors in the projects, aiming to reduce the occurrence of potential hazardous incidents.

Manysplendid supported the Central Weather Administration (CWA) in hosting the "Typhoon IDSS Workshop 2024" from April 23rd to 24th. This workshop emphasized enhancing wind forecast accuracy and facilitated discussions with industry professionals about the challenges and application scenarios of transitioning wind forecast products from a county scale to a more detailed spatial range. Through group discussions and mutual sharing, participants addressed the specific needs for temporal and spatial resolution at various stages of wind disasters, as well as future expectations for forecast refinement. This aims to complete the external service of future products and achieve the goal of exchanging knowledge and experience.

2024.03.26＜Manysplendid Participates Again in Seminar on Establishing and Enhancing the Belize River Basin Disaster Prevention and Warning System＞

Manysplendid and the Tenth River Management Branch warmly welcomed the Belize team once again from afar!
Following their initial visit in August, the Belize Interdepartmental Rapid Response Team returned to the Yuanshanzi Management Center and the Danshui River Basin Hydrological Center. This visit included a review of past flood disaster cases and a demonstration of how the Yuanshanzi diversion channel effectively reduces disaster risk. Starting with the basic settings for flood alert water levels, we shared insights into hydrological monitoring in critical flood prevention areas of the Danshui River Basin, as well as the experiences of flood prevention volunteers and disaster-prepared communities. Through this exchange, we aim to share Taiwan’s extensive knowledge and strategies in flood prevention with our international partners, thereby enhancing disaster prevention capabilities and ensuring the safety of the populace.

2024.1.5-9＜ManySplendid's annual company trip!＞

The employees of ManySplendid Company embark on their first exploration of South Korea during the company's trip, and felt the natural and cultural beauty of Busan.
In five days, we enjoyed the coastal scenery of Haeundae, experienced the comfortable relaxation of the Korean sauna, made wishes and prayed for peace for ManySplendid's future at Bulguksa Temple, and visited the world heritage and lively shopping district of Gyeongju. We took the cable car up to Palgongsan Mountain in Daegu to witness the snow scene, admired the big Buddha at Donghwasa Temple, and met the Little Prince at Gamcheon Culture Village during the sunset. At the amusement park, slope car, food, shopping, the wonderful and rich journey made us linger and forget to return! Looking forward to meeting with colleagues and family members in a foreign country next year, and enjoying the ManySplendid Company trip with beautiful scenery, delicious food, and intellectual exchange.
